# Alert

> Highlight an important message with a semantic tone and optional body text.

# Alert

**Alert** shows a colored banner message the user should notice. It also works for information, success, and tips — not just errors.

## Availability

Alert can be used in every placement and structure block.

## Add and configure

1. Add **Alert** from **Content**.
2. Choose a **Tone**: info, warning, success, critical, or tip.
3. Enter a required **Title**.
4. Optionally add a longer **Message**.

The title and message can mix fixed text and dynamic values.

## Data, rules, and steps

Typically, combine Alert with a visibility rule:

* critical when a due date has passed;
* warning when a property is missing;
* success when the form status is approved;
* info when an external system has supplementary data.

The block can be shared across all steps or belong to a single step. Inside a repeater, the text can use the row's fields.

## Limitations and tips

An Alert is static content; it does not dismiss itself and is not the same as a toast from the **Show a message** action.

Use at most one or two highlighted messages in the same visible area. Multiple critical colors at once dilute the sense of priority.
