Accordion

Accordion saves space by hiding secondary content behind a title. Use it for details, explanations, or less common actions — not for information that must always be discovered.

Availability

Accordion can be used in every placement and can contain other building blocks.

Add and configure

  1. Add Accordion from Structure.
  2. Set the Title as fixed or dynamic text.
  3. Drag content into the highlighted area.
An Accordion must have at least one and can have up to 20 direct children. It starts with a text block as sample content.

Data, rules, and steps

The title can use dynamic fields. The visibility rule and step assignment on the container control the whole section; children can have additional rules of their own.

Limitations and tips

The schema supports having the section open by default, but the current designer does not expose that setting. New Accordion blocks start closed. Avoid hiding critical errors and primary actions. Use an Alert or visible content for anything the user needs to see right away.
