Stat tiles

Stat tiles shows key values the user should be able to read at a glance, such as revenue, open invoices, or the number of associated deals.

Availability

Stat tiles can be used in all placements. In a narrow sidebar, limit the number of tiles and the label length.

Add and configure

A new block starts with three stat tiles. For each tile you set:

• Label — what the value means;
• Value from — a fixed or dynamic value.

Choose Add stat tile to reach up to four. The schema requires at least one and allows at most four.

Choose good values

Well-suited sources are:

• a numeric record field;
• the count of associated records;
• the sum of a numeric field on associated records;
• a calculated field from a connected system;
• a form answer or row field, when the context calls for it.

Formatting comes from the field mapping or the block’s existing configuration. New default tiles use number formatting.

Data, rules, and steps

The label can also be dynamic. The whole block can have one visibility rule and one step assignment. The individual tiles can technically have status tags and their own rules in the schema, but this cannot be configured in the current designer.

Limitations and tips

The current inspector can add tiles, but not individually remove or rearrange them. Plan the number of tiles before adding the fourth, or recreate the block if the composition needs to change significantly. Use short labels. If a value is not a number, check the formatting; a raw machine format from an external system may otherwise be shown as text.
